Creamy White Chili

This recipe is from my friend Marcy. It is one of my favorite meals even though I don't like chili. Mike's family makes something very similar to this. Maybe they can put their variation on this blog so you can try that one too!

1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 med. onion, chopped fairly small
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or garlic clove)
1 Tbs. veg. oil
2 cans Great Northern Beans
1 can chicken broth
2 cans green chilies
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. cayenne pepper or chili powder
1 cup sour cream
1 cup whipping cream

1. Sautee chicken, onion, and garlic powder in oil until chicken is pink2. Add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings. Bring to a boil.Reduce heat, simmer for 30 min.3. Stir in sour cream and whipping cream
